Take...luck! Take luck and care. Take care of the luck. Good luck taking care of the luck that you might have...if you have luck, take it, care for it. TAKE LUCK CARE OF IN IT WHEN YOU TAKE LUCK CARE OF IN IT

I'm a displaced Southern girl. I once ate eight bowls of Cheerios so I could get the nutrition of one bowl of Total. A friend and I rented movies at Blockbuster because we forgot we didn't have a VCR. When I was nine, I tried teaching my dog to speak – English. Bees don't scare me, but every other type of bug does. I once considered selling my wedding dress for 75 boxes of Girl Scout cookies. My husband and I argue more about punctuation than we do about anything else. Any other burning questions, just ask!

Picture Pages

In case you haven't noticed, I have a link on the sidebar to some family photos. Please check them out!

There are several pictures from the Autism Walk I did last month. Now that the donations are in and added up, the PIttsburgh walk alone made over $600,000 for autism research. That's amazing! I'd heard that the Pittsburgh walk was the largest in the country, so it was exciting to be a part of it. Thanks to everyone who sponsored me!

I also included pictures from our Alaska trip because, hey, how often do you get to go to Alaska? It was a fun trip, even though we didn't have as much sightseeing time as we would have liked. Our first night there, we stayed in a lodge in the woods, and in the morning we found moose tracks leading right up to our windows. We didn't see any actual moose there, but the next day in Anchorage we saw two moose crossing the highway. I included the picture, even though we were too far away to get much detail.

The others are assorted pictures of the girls. I'll add more next month, but until then these will have to do. I have shockingly few recent pictures of them; apparently we've been negligent this summer. I tried to remedy that today when we went to the park, but of course I forgot to check the batteries in the camera first, and of course they were dead. Doh!

Enjoy the pictures!
